Celebrating Creativity and Compassion: 2024 Youth Art Charity Auction & Exhibition
On February 24, 2024, creativity, culture and community came together at the Angus Glen Public Library for the Year of the Dragon – 2024 Youth Art Charity Auction & Exhibition.
Organized by Jiaxi Venness Chen and the CICS Foundation, and co-organized by Ms. Orange Academy of Art, the event provided young artists with an opportunity to showcase their creativity while contributing to a meaningful charitable cause.
Held in celebration of the Year of the Dragon, the exhibition highlighted the imagination and artistic talents of young people in our community. The dragon, a powerful symbol in Chinese culture representing strength, courage and good fortune, provided a fitting theme for an event dedicated to encouraging a new generation to use their talents to make a positive difference.
A Community Effort
An event like this is made possible through the collective efforts of many people.
We at the CICS Foundation would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who supported the 2024 Youth Art Charity Auction & Exhibition.
First and foremost, we thank all of the young artists who participated and generously shared their artwork. Your creativity, enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to a charitable cause were what made this event so special.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the parents and families who encouraged these young artists and supported their participation. Behind every young person who has the confidence to create, participate and give back is often a family that encourages them along the way.
Our gratitude also goes to the donors and supporters whose generosity helped turn these beautiful works of art into meaningful support for the community. Every contribution demonstrates a shared belief in helping others and building a stronger, more caring community.
We thank Ms. Orange Academy of Art for its collaboration and commitment to nurturing young artistic talent, as well as everyone who dedicated their time and effort to organizing and supporting the exhibition and auction.
We are also grateful to the Angus Glen Public Library for serving as the venue where our community could gather, celebrate young artists and share in the spirit of the occasion.

Thank You for Your Generosity
CICS Foundation is deeply thankful to everyone who contributed to the success of this event—our young artists, donors, families, organizers, volunteers, community partners and guests.
Your generosity went beyond financial support. By attending the exhibition, encouraging a young artist, bidding on a piece of artwork, volunteering your time or helping spread the word, you became part of a collective effort to strengthen our community.
The event showed our young participants something particularly valuable: their talents can have an impact.
When children and youth discover that something they created can inspire another person and contribute to a good cause, they begin to understand the important role they can play in the world around them.
